At this time, whilst our building is currently closed, we are releasing a selection of productions to be shown for free as ‘Premieres’ via our YouTube channel. ‘YouTube Premieres’ is a feature on the app that lets all of our followers watch a new video together at the same time. All of the details are on this page and we’re asking for a voluntary donation in return. How long will the free YouTube Premiere films be available? Films will be on rotation, each available for a fortnight at a time. The exception to this rule is the Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank productions, which won’t expire and will remain available to stream until schools reopen. This page will highlight which films are available, which are coming soon, and which have already streamed. If you’ve missed a production, it will likely still be available to rent or buy on Globe Player. What is a ‘Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank’ production and what does this mean for how I can stream it? Some of our YouTube Premieres are Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank titles. This is our annual project which sees schools enjoy a production at the Globe Theatre, for free. Videos from previous years will be released, they are all key curriculum Shakespeare plays and are accompanied by a wealth of teaching resources. These Playing Shakespeare streamed, aimed at schools and students, will not expire after two weeks and will remain available until schools reopen. How can I join the discussion?
